Amazonian White Clay

This mineral-rich Caolinitic white clay is gathered from the banks of the Amazon river in the beginning of the dry season, after months of steeping in all of the leaves, fruits, and seeds swept downriver from the rainforest.

This natural clay has been used in Brazil for centuries as a stress-relieving, detoxifying therapy.

The properties of the clay result from the absorption of unsaponifiable portions from the many botanical oils which wash up over it. The clay is rich in iron, aluminium, potassium, calcium, boron, and sulphur. It is dried by sunshine.

Face or body pack: 15-50%
Skin and body products such as regeneration, cleaning, hydration: 3 to 10%
